Moments ago, Turkish broadcaster TRT confirmed on its website what fans were speculating about already for days: Hadise Açıkgöz will represent the nation at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. The 23-year old singer is well-known in Belgium, where she was born, as singer, songwriter and since recently even as television presenter.
